KUMETJ CLUB'S MEETINQ.
The annual meeting of th« &mieu Tennis Club was held last evening, when Dr. Harris presided over a full attendance of members. The chairman, in summing up the year's activities, congratulated the club on its present sound financial position. Special mention was made of the outstanding play of one of the youngest members of the club, Arnold Giles, who was successful in winning both the senior and junior championships of the Kaipara Sub-Association, and the doubles championship with C. Giles. The election of officers resulted:—Resident, Dr. C. S. Harris; vice-president Mr. W. Smith; secretary, Mr. J. Granville; treasurer, Mr. T. L. Shaw; club captain, Mr. W. Smith; committee Messrs. J. B. Cranswick, G. W. Orme, G. Shuttleworth and W. F. Smith; delegates to the M.K.W. Cup committee, Dr. Harris and Mr. W. Smith; delegates to Kaipara Sub-Association, Messrs. J. Granville and W. Smith.
