CASE FROM INGLEWOOD.
alleged birth concealment
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. A Maori, Bella Thomson, of Inglewood, single, aged 20 years, was charged to-day with the murder of her newly born child on May 24, and with concealment of birth. She was remanded till Tuesday. It is understood that a doctor was called to attend accused on May 24, and he found that a child had been born and the body removed. Subsequently the „ body was recovered.
