HANDBAG THIEF.
WOMAN BOBBED IN EPSOM,
While ail elderly woman, Mrs. M. E. Duncan, of Pukekohe West, was standing at the corner of Manukau Road and Banff Avenue, Epsom, at 7.30 last night, a young man snatched her handbag and made off along Golf Iload. Mrs. Duncan was upset and startled by her experience. Fortunately the h - ndbag contained only a small sum of money. She described the thief as a tall man.
