MOUNTED RIFLES
ANNUAL AUCKLAND REUNION. The annual reunion of the Auckland Mounted Rifles was held on Saturdaj night, Major 11. Smith presiding, llieic was a record attendance. The toast of the 6th (Jacob's) Mountain Battery, R.A., was proposed by Major t • A. Wood, who was adjutant of the rowment during its Anzac association witn the battery. He read greetings from tlic present commanding officer at Abbottabaa. North-West Frontier, India, the letter adding that Anzac Day was always celebrated as a battery holiday, and Ui.at association with the troops of the Aiwafi Corps was one of the battery a prolines' memories.
