And the Health Department an other social service—should that be abolished along with free hospital treatment and Sf' Helens hospitals, The Navy and Arm y and the police, force also are "social activities" but I suppose the chambers would spare then although once upon a time they were run b'' '-'•private enterprise." Sooner at later th Chambers of Commerce must come out in th 6 open and declare their aims. Then, we can ask our members of Parliament whether thev support those aims. If the M.P.'s do suDnorfc them, the electors will know what to do. Meanwhile I gladlv subscribe myself NOT A BUSINESS MAN.
