- LYNNDALE CLUB. Next week the club will hojd a fourlap race over its circuit -at New. Lynn, and a good field is . expected.' Staying'thefe the riiglit they will then return on the Sunday.

PAPATOETOE CLUB. It was very evident in last week's race that several of the riders will have to pay more attention to hill work, as only five finished the 23 miles, E. L. Krarrt-is was the most outstanding rider, gaining first aild fastest time. His time, 8-1.16, was not very fast, but weather conditions were chiefly responsible. This rider should do well in the future, as he is well built, and pays a great deal of attention to training. He gained first place in the first centre race last year, and was fifth in the first centre race of this year. I. C. Bellini, oil" the scratch mark, just missed doing the "hat trick in fastest times. .He was fastest in the first two races,''and second and second fastest in last week's race. He spoilt oi gaining time honours by .being too eager to drop his co-marker, -S. I infold, and tired towards the finish - ~T ]«; Moftit, who dead-heated with 11. Hadfield for third place, has ridden very, consistently so - far. and is 'now leading in points. EL. Hadfield rode a good and a little more training should see him among the backmarkers. R. (tibbs, the limit man, rode a good unpaced ride for the whole distance, but the hill was a bit severe for one so young. The mention in the IVEaniikaU Club iiot'-?s last week of a combined run with 3. apatoetoe was the first intimation the latter club had of the proposal, out Captain Francis would be pleased to co-operate if the Manukau Club gets in touch with him.
