WELLINGTON, Friday. The police authorities are perplexed by a report that a number of torn pound notes have been found on the Welling-ton-Palmerston North main highway. As yet no notes have been reported missing. The noteis in question are genuine and have not been cancelled. They have j been torn in halves. > J
