TE KUITI DOG TRIALS.

The annual trials of the Te Kulti Collie Club held on Mr. Walker's paddock, and concluded yesterday, after three interesting days proved N a most successful function. The fine weather this year attracted fair crowds on each of the three days competitions Mr. A. Bellamy, of Paeroa, the judge, considers the work performed was well up to championship standard, and a very high standard of efficiency attained as evidenced by the winners of the points obtained in the various events, llie results of the final days are as follows Long Head, Pull and Hold in Ring, time 10m, possible points 50.—P. Short Head, Pull, Drive and Yard, possible points 00. —Fraser Smith's Highland King, 591 (Awakino), 1; C. Cameron's Tui, 581 (Morrinsville), 2; G. Slddle's Boy, 571. (Morrinsville), 3. Huntaway through 3 Sets of Flags, 10m, possible points 45.— J. King's Don, 44J (Awakino), 1: O. A. French's Mack, 431 (Te Kuiti), 2; E. G. Broad's Jack, 4o (Cambridge), 3. Huutaway, Head and Bring Back, time 12m, points 58.—L. Cotter's Floss, -54 (Tc Kuiti), 1; D. Ariel's Lass. 53 (Cambridge), 2- W S. Park's Ronnie. 52 (Te Kuiti), 3. Mr E. G. Broad, of Cambridge, won the Ncal Cup, and the Mowatt Rose Bowl was gained bv Mr. »T. King, Awakino. Mr A. J. Sutherland won the Kennedy Cup, while his son, George, gained the Auctioneers' Cup. Mr. P. McNaughton, with his dog Willis, was successful in winning the trophy which he himself presented.
