SOCCER PROGRAMME.

FIVE GAMES TO-MORROW. SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP CONTINUED. BLANDFORD PARK ATTRACTIONS. The Soccer senior championship will be in full swing to-morrow afternoon, when the fixture list comprises five contests. Two games that promise keen competition and close finishes have been allotted to Blandford Park, the contestants being Y.M.C.A. and Comrades and Shore United and Ponsonby. The former game will supply the curtain-i'aiser, and will be the first opportunity ot Y.M.C.A. at headquarters this season. Last season's champions, the \ .M. team, has undergone several prominent changes, mostly in the direction of replacing experienced players by promoted juniors. This policy so far has been quite jnstitied by results, and the game to-morrow should further test the standard ot Hie Y.M. combination. Comrades have gained two points from their first two games in the senior grade, which is a satisfactory achievement for the babies of tin. division. Both Y.M. and Comrades pla> a bright game, and when the final whistle sounds there is not likely to be much of a margin, if any, separating the scores. The 3 o'clock game on Blandford will be between the newly-constituted bhore United and Ponsonby. The Devon port side is the only one of the ten in .he grade that has taken full points from the two matches played. The team is composed of players practically unknown to senior ranks, but the fast, open, unorthodox game that lias so fl^ uel . marked Shore elevens is also istic of the new combination. p °nsonby played quite a promising game against Tramways last Saturdav, and probablv the fastest game of the first round should I eventuate from this fixture.

Oneliunga are again at home to-morrow, and will have New Lynn as their guests, whicli may yield them tW first vi«ory for the season. At Western »prn.gs \bels are down to meet Thistle, while Tramways will make the journey to ov Helier's, where they will Gl| Tnnpq 4fter the number of draws, last Saturday, it would be unwise to venture predictions of any of the results of the.e games.
