AWARDS ANNOUNCED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The New Zealand Institute, at its annual meeting, awarded the Hector prize to Dr. Benson, of Dunedin, and Dr. Marwick, of Wellington, the prize to be divided and each to receive a medal. Professor Denham, of Christchureh, was elected a fellow of the institute. The Sidey medal was awarded to 13. F. Hudson, of Wellington.
