VERDICT FOR DEFENDANT.
The jury returned a verdict for defendant by ten votes to two in the action heard before Mr. Justice Herdman yesterday in which Victor Stanley Aspin, of Waiuku, sharemilker (Mr. Prendergast), claimed £158 special damages from Augustus Selwyn Vaughan, builder, of Waiuku (Mr. West). The action arose out of a motor collision which happened on the Graham's Beach-Waiuku Road on January 29. 1932. Judgment was I entered accordingly vi£h costs.
