Seeonee Training Pack. On Monday evening last the cubs of tho Auckland iSeeonee Pack assen.bled at training headquarters, 11, Commerce Street, for their first .meeting in 1933." A large assembly of Auckland cubbers greeted witli enthusiasm the variety of games, work sessions and instructional periods, presented by their old wolf, Akela Leader J. E. Middleton. Metropolitan Commissioner N". M. Mathcson is A.C.M. of the pack. Tho evening opened with a game in which all participated, after which sixes were arranged and sixers elected. To start at the beginning of cub training is tho object of the old wolves in this year's course, and the first session given was on "The Play Way." Although this heading was not new to the cube who attended last year, the subject was full of interest, and much additional information was imparted. Some of the other sessions given were upon "The Cub Law" and "The Salute." Jungle dances were not forgotten in the eplen-didly-arranged programme, and all cubs had their turn at acting the part of Baloo, a character described by the chief as a croes between a bear in the zoo and- a London policeman. After supper a camp fire was expected, but so full was the programme that this populnr feature had to be omitted. If tho attendance at thie initial meeting is anything to go upon, the Soeonee Pack is going to be very popular this winter, and if the programme carried out is an indication of what is to follow, then Auckland cubbers have much to look forward to in the future:
