MAORI KILLED.
MOTOR CYCLE CRASH. PARTY JXTOXICA7ED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., this day. At the inquest on Win. Graham, aged 33, married, a Maori, of. Awakuri, otherwise known as Ilopcta Kcreama, wio died following a collision between two motor cycles on the main FeildingBuiuiythorpc Koad • on February 14, it was stated that W. Graham was on a machine ridden by Sydney Graham, and was accompanied by another Maori. After lengthy evidence the coroner returned a verdict that death was due to laceration of the brain following a collision. He said the evidence revealed that the Maori and his companions were iiftoxicated. Sydney Graham apparently was unfit to /.ave charge of a machine and was not licensed. There was no light on tho machine, and apparently the accident was caused through the condition of Sydney Graham.
