POLICY OF FRANCE. PARIS, May 10. "France hns. not yet made good all its war losses nor replaced all old units, but wo are working methodically on a renewal of the whole French Navy," said the French Naval Minister at St. Nazairc, at tho launching of the new cruiser Emile Bertin,
The ship will have a displacement of 0000 tons and a speed of 34 knots. It will bo equipped with three six-inch guns, several anti-aircraft and other guns. It can also be used for minelaying, and carries a catapult aeroplane on board.
