SINGER FAINTS.
APPEARANCE BEFORE KING. LONDON, May 10. Singing a solo before the King and Queeirat°tlie jubilee concert of the Royal College of Music, Elizabeth Aveling, a well-known soprano, began to sway. Her voice quavered and she collapsed in a faint. She was carried from the platform, Their Majesties leading the sympathetic applause. Miss Aveling pluckily returned, supported by two members of the choir, and finished her solo.
