SCREEN ACTOR DEAD.
ERNEST TORRENCE PASSES. (Received 11 a.m.) NEW YORK, May 15. Ernest Torrence, the veteran screen actor, died early to-day at the age of 54. He claimed the distinction of being: the first talking picture actor 20 years ago.
