CHILDREN'S COURT.
RESOLUTION OF PROTESTS The executive of the Seddon Liberal party is to send a copy of the following resolution to the Minister of Justice, as a preliminary to further action by the party:— "The executive of the Seddon Liberal party of New Zealand condemns the action o£ the presiding J.P. at the Children's Court in excluding the secretary of the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Women and Children frgm Court during the hearing of cases. Our honorary solicitor advises that the contentions of the Hon. Minister of Justice is the clear statement of the law. We consider a full investigation should be made of all institutions connected with child ■welfare, especially regarding children's wages and child labour."
