Ultimatum to Russia for Return Of Rolling Stock. NEXT MOVE UNCERTAIN. SHANGHAI, May 14. Tlio Manchukuo Government's ultimatum to the Soviet requiring the return of the ears and locomotives belonging to the Chinese Eastern Kailway, which at present are in Russia, expired on Friday night. There is much speculation as to what tho new State intends to do. It is generally believed that the whole matter will he compromised possibly on the sale of Russian interests in the railway to Manchukuo for £30,000,000 as recently proposed by the Russian Foreign Minister, M. Litvinoff.
