MUST LEAVE COUNTRY.
ENGLISHMAN IN GERMANY. i (Received 12.30 p.m.) BERLIN, May 14. Geoffrey Eraser, an English journalist, who was charged with alleged Communist activities in Germany, has been released on condition that he .leave the country within a specified time. Geoffrey Fraser was arrested in bin bed on the night of April 4, and imprisoned with another alleged Communist Brit 3her. Mr. T. C. Catchpool. The latter was subsequently released. Mr. Fraser was charged with sending incorrect reports of atrocities in Germany abroad, and With spreading subversive propaganda and untrue statements about the Nazis among the Germany Army and police. He was interviewed by the British Consul, and received good consideration at the hands of the police.
