N.Z. JUNIOR CHAMPIONS. The remaining matches in the national junior hard court tennis championships were played at Campbell Park on Saturday. Girls' Plate.—Joy Bishop (Auckland). BIRKENHEAD AND NORTHCOTE. With the exception of the girls' championship singles, all the championships of the Birkenhead and Northcote Tennis Club were completed on Saturday afternoon on the chip courts at Northcote. Results : — Junior singles: H. Sinel beat R. Preston, o—2, 6— 4. Intermediate singles : R. H. Stott beat H. Turner. 3 —6, 6—2. 6—o. Men's singles: E. W. B. Herrick beat J. Hollows. 6—l. Men's doubles: J. W. Court and L. Holmes beat H. Turner and E. Turner. C —-2 fi—s. Ladies' singles : Mrs. E. W. B. Herrick beat Mrs. A. McFetridge. c,—2, G—o. Ladles' doubles: Mesdames E. W. B.
