LEWIS WINS INTERNATIONAL. ) LONDON, May 7. The international 250 miles motor race at Brooklauds 011 Saturday was won by the Hon. Brian Lewis driving an Alfa 1 Romeo. He averaged 88.07 miles an hour. E. R. Hall, in an M.G. Magnette, was second (82.77 miles an hour), and Mrs. -! Wisdom, also in an M.G. Magnette—tiie only woman competing—was third (81.24 'miles an hour). v ] There were two narrow escapes, lii.yston : in the third lap was travelling at a speed I of 70 miles an hour when a-wheel flew' off ' his car and struck and injured an official.
