OKARITO CRUSHING. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") DUXEDIN, this day. Okarito, which had a wash-up last week of 1230z lOdwt, won 4670z 4dwt of gold for the previous four weeks, tlie total time worked being 455 hours. The average value of the ground worked, on a basis of gold worth £± an ounce, was 1/2 a cubic yard. MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Dawn of Hope.—For the week ending April 29: Stoping was continued on the hangingwall branch of the Golden Age reef. Although no picked stone was obtained colours of gold were seen in the stone broken, which lias been saved for treatment. Timbering and cleaning out the low level in the Waiotalii Creek has been completed and the level is now in good repair.
