ROYAL SHOW.
QUESTION OF DATES. PROVINCIAL COUNCIL TO MEET. Mr. S. Austin Carr, president of the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association, said this morning tliat a meeting of the provincial council would be held shortly, when show dates would bo fixed. It was likely that the dates for tlie Royal Show at Auckland next year would be February 8, 9, and 10, as recommended at a conference of delegates of A. and P. associations at Morrinsville this week. It liad been decided previously, in the interests of Southern sheep breeders, that the Eoyal Show should not be held lafer than February 10.
