GRAVESIDE CEREMONY.
MOUSTACHES MEMORIAL. LONDON, April 26. The world's strangest memorial service followed the death of the veteran General Nagaoka, says the Tokyo correspondent of the "Daily Mail." While the body was awaiting cremation, ; the general's son, conforming to the wishes of his father's friends, cut off the famous 20in moustaches, and a special memorial service was held for them., They were afterwards interred in a \ mound prepared by the family and the general's comrades. It was General Nagaoka who kissed Mrs. Amy Mollison on her arrival in Japan, in 1931, after her flight from England. •
