CROQUET.
WAITJKU CLUB,
The closing day of the Waiuku Croquet Club was held in fine weather, when a good attendance of visitors spent a pleasant time on the lawns. Progressive croquet was played and novelty competitions created much amusement.. During the afternoon . tea interval tne president, Mrs. .f. Muir, congratulated the prizewinners of the various club competitions played during the season. The results of these are:— B Championship Singles, Wright Cup.— Mrs. H. Wright; runner-up, Mrs. Willington. C Championship.—Mrs. Andrews; run-ner-up, Mrs. Hamilton. A doubles: Mrs. A. W. Barriball and Mrs. Peach. A and B doubles: Mrs. K. Long and Mrs. Peach. B doubles: Mrs. H. Wright and Mrs. Collings. Progressive croquet, A section: Mrs. Long. Progressive croquet, B section: Mrs. Collinge. Long shot: Mrs. Hamilton. Hurry scurry : Mrs. G. Calder. Men's long shot: Mr. J. Barriball. The A championship singles final, between Mrs. A. M. Barriball and Mrs. C. R. Barriball, for the Flavell Cup, is still to be played.
