THE PUKEKOHE SUB-UNION.
At the annual meteing of! the Pukekohe Rugby Sub-Union, Mr. 11. Curd presided over a keen assembly of delegates from the Hamblers, Patumahoe, White Star, Kia Ora, Drury and Old Boys' Football Clubs and the Pukekohe Referees' Association. Officers elected :—Patron, Mr. .T. N. Massey, M.P.; president. Mr. IT. Curd; vice-presidents, Messrs. 11. .T. Sumner, F. Perkins, A. Trenwith, D. .Tamieson, W. K. Johns; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. V. Fox; auditor, Mr. M. S. Campbell: timekeeper, Mr. W. Ploydell; senior selector, Mr. S. Marshall; junior selector, Mr. G. Perry; third grade selector. Mr. J. P. Rae; delegate to Keferees' Association, Mr. Marshall ; emergency committee, Messrs. Curd, C. 11. Jemison and A. J. Patterson ; honorary surgeons, Drs. A. T. Begg, ,T. McWhirter and L. J. Forman Bull; management committee, the president and secretary, and Messrs. Patterson, .Teinison, T. Patete, T. Short, G. Perry and 11. Ploydell. Idfe membership was conferred on Messrs. J. P. Rao and W. .T. Short. It was decided to commence the competitions oh May 6. and a meeting of the management committee was called for May 1 to arrange the draw. It was agreed that nlay in senior matches should commence at 2.30 p.m. A letter is to be sent to Wesley College and the Pukekohe Technical High School expressing regret that their teams will not be playing in tTie union competitions this vear, they being duo to play in a competition arranged by the recently formed Frankin Secondary Schools' Athletic Association. A vote of apreeiation of the services rendered bv the retiring secretary, Mr. W. B. Richards, over the past two years was recorded.
