RUMOURED SALE OF FUNDS,
(By Telegraph.—Special to " Star.") . WELLINGTON, this day. The Minister of Finance, Mr. Goates, to-day characterised as incorrect a suggestion that the Government had sold £3,000,000 of its funds in London to Australia to enable the New Zealand Budget to be balanced.
