WATER IN MILK.
William Henry Jenkins was charged in the Police Court this morning with selling milk containing 21 per cent of added water. Defendant did not appear, but forwarded a letter explaining that the presence of the water in the milk had been due to a defective cooler. Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., imposed a ,fine of £5 and costs.
