SEARCHER AT PALMERSTON. "'PLANES WILL AROUSE COURAGE." (By Telegraph. —Special to "Star.") PALMERSTON NORTH, this day. Revived hope for the four missing trampers is held by Mr. J. Sandman, a local searcher, -who has returned, home after several days on the Tararua Ranges. -Mr. Sandman considers that the sight of 'planes overhead will give the lost trampers courage, but he fails to understand why smoke signals were not used. He etill holds out hopo for a further four or five days of ultimate rescue.
