FINE AND COOL.
ISOLATED SHOWERS IiIKELY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. An intense anti-cyclone is now centred over the Tasman Sea, its eastern side extending over New Zealand. After a prolonged spell of high pressure barometers are now falling over eastern Australia. The forecast is moderate to fresh, hut decreasing southerly winds; a few isolated showers are likely at first, but otherwise fine and oool; seas rough on tho west coast with a southerlv swell, but moderating rapidly; moderate on the east coast.
