NEW ZEALAND GREENERY.
DECORATION. For special decorative purposes, a large consignment of lycopodium, birch and toitoi is accompanying Mr. L. J. Schmitt, New Zealand Government Trade and Tourist Commissioner in Australia, who left Auckland for Sydney by the Wanganella this afternoon. On arrival in Sydney a ball will be held on board the vessel under the auspices of the Sydney Benevolent Society, and the evening will take the form of a "New Zealand night." The specimens so characteristic of New Zealand's flora will form the basis of the decoration scheme, the arrangement of which will be supervised by Mr. and Mrs. Schmitt.
