Mr. Clay, the sitting member of the Auckland Harbour Board representing the combined districts of Mount Eden and Mount Albert for the past fourteen years, is again a candidate at the coming Election. Mr. Clay has held the position of Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Harbour Board for four years, and is still a member of that Committee. In addition, Mr. Clay has rendered valuable service as a past chairman for ten years of the Avondale Road Board, also as a member of the Mount Albert Borough Council and Mayor of Mount Albert for four years.
