A FORTUNE LOST.—The funning of sweepstakes on the Grand National has given it an additional world-wide Interest of recent years. Drawers of this horse, Pelorus Jack, were decidedly out of luck when he fell at the last fence when in the lead with the winner, Kellsboro' Jack.
