The autumn meeting of the Ashburton Trotting Club was held to-day in good weather. There was a large attendance and the track was good. The win and place totalisator was inaugurated and handled £12,699, compared with £13,142 last year. Olson (Allenton Handicap), and Goldfield (Improvers') were the liret two winners.
