HOLIDAY ON ANZAC DAY.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) THAMES, this day In the matter of unemployed men engaged in mining and prospecting under No. 5 Scheme losing a day's pay if they did not work on Anzac Day, a satisfactory settlement lias been reached. The men will now receive the benefit of the holiday on full pay. This arrangement is,, the result of representations made by the Mayor of Thames, Mr. S. Ensor, the R.S.A., and Miners' Union.
