PLANTING BULBS IN CLUMPS.
When planting in clumps, plant the bulbs alternately and in circles. If the soil is taken out ivith the spade the size of the clump and the right depth, the bulbs can be stood on the soil and then
covered with soil. This is much better than putting in with the dibber or trowel, as the bulbs can be stood down .properly and evenly, and there is no fear of one being deeper than the other.
