DUNEDIN, this day.

It is expected that in the near future,' regular tours will be arranged from Sydney and Melbourne to the South Island.

Mr. L. J. Sclmiitt, Trade Commissioner, states that a ship is to leave Sydney for Milford and call at Bluff, Dunedin and Lyttelton.

Similarly a boat is to leave Melbourne for the Sounds, making Lyttelton its final port.
