RUGBY, April 10.
An exceptional spell of warm, sunny weather, which has been. almost unbroken in southern England since March 21, still continues. London enjoyed 101 hours of sunshine on Saturday, with a maximum temperature of 69 degrees.
Summer time began last night and it will encourage people to take full advantage of the spring sunshine. The weather forecast states that the anticyclone which covers the British Isles shows no immediate signs of dispersing.
