Failure to Grapple With the
Depression.
MR. MASSY GREENE'S VIEW.
SYDNEY, April 10.
Senator Massy Greene, who has just concluded the trade agreement between New Zealand and Australia, arrived from New Zealand to-day. He declined to discuss the outcome of his mission, and merely commented in general terms on the effects of tho depression in the Dominion.
He remarked that the Dominion apparently failed to realise as soon as the Commonwealth the need for grappling with the situation.
