MONTEREY IN PORT.

En route from Melbourne to San Francisco, the steamer Monterey arrived at Auckland from Sydney this morning and landed 112 passengers at the Prince's wharf. She is announced to sail for San Francisco, via Suva, Pfgo Honolulu and Los Angeles, at p.m. to-day, taking 73 passengers from Auckland, in addition to her 166 through passengers from Australia. After loading local produce at _ the Queen's wharf, the motor ship Otaio -is to sail to-niglit for Southern ports, to fill up for the United Kingdom, while the steamer Middlesex, which has also been loading at the Queen's wharf, is to sail at noon to-morrow for Montevideo, London and W.C.U.K. ports One of the vacant berths at the Queen's wharf will be occupied by the motor ship Orari, due to-morrow morning with general cargo from Liverpool.

UNION COMPANY'S STEAMERS. The Waimea sails for Gisborne and Napier at 5 p.m. to-day. The Kiwitea is expected to clear Hobart this afternoon for Dunedin, Lyttelton and Auckland.

The Kaimiro loads at Greymouth about Thursday next for Wellington and Auckland.

The Kairanga leaves Westport to-mor-row for Wellington and Auckland.

After loading local produce at the Queen's wharf, the Federal steamer Middlesex is to sail for Montevideo, London ozul W.C.U.K. ports at noon to-morrow.

H.SS-s. Diomede Is to sail from the Prince's wharf at 3 p.m. to-day on her Island cruise.

The motor ship Whangarei sailed for Whangarei last night. She is to return to Auckland to-morrow morning to load at the King's wharf, and Is announced to sail to-morrow afternoon for Wellington, Picton, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin.

Bringing 8000 tons of phosphate for discharge at Auckland, the Danish motor ship Victoria left Nauru last Saturday. is due here about April 17.

To fill up for Montevideo, Hook of Hoi-' land and London, the S.S. and A. Line steamer Mahana is to sail on Thursday morning for Wellington and Wanganui. She is scheduled to sail finally from Wancanui on April 21.

Cabled advice from Calcutta states that fhe Union Company's chartered steamer Narbada left there last Saturday for Rangoon, Penang, Singapore and Samarang to All up for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due here about May 13.

An expected arrival at Wellington tomorrow morning is the New Zealand Ship; ping Company's motor ship Rangitata, with passengers, mails and cargo from London. She is to come to Auckland to complete discharge.

OTAIO SAILS. In continuation of her loading Itinerary the New Zealand Shipping Company's motor ship Otaio sails at 10 p.m. to-day forGisborne, Napier and Wellington. She ig scheduled to clear Wellington for .London, via Cape Horn, on April 24.

KIA ORA SAILS. To put out the remainder of her general cargo from Liverpool, the S.S. and A. Line steamer Kia Ora is to sail for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin at 3 p.m. to-day. *

OSTHAV COMING. The Shell Co. has received advice that the tanker Osthav left Singapore on March 26 with bulk oil for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due here next Friday.

KARAMEA TO LOAD. Leaving Wellington this afternoon, the S.S w and A. Line motorship Karatnea ig Auckland oxi Thursday nest for final, homeward loading. She is to sail from here for London and W.C.U.K. ports, via Cape Horn, on April 19.

* NIAGARA REPORTS. ; En route from Vancouver to Sydney, the Union Co.'s R.M.s. Niagara is due at Suva, via Honolulu, at 5 p.m. on Thursday, aid is. scheduled to clear there for Auckland on Friday. She is due at Auckland next Monday morning, and sails for Sydney at 5 p.m. the following day.

OTAKI LOADING. Arriving at Auckland yesterday afterr 110011 in ballast from Cardiff, the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Otaki berthed at the Kings wharf to commence homeward loading. She is to be dispatched at daybreak on Thursday for Wellington, j. Napier and Wanganui, to fill up, an<J it scheduled to sail tinally from Wanganui for London, via Montevideo, on April 26.

ORARI TO-MORROW. According to her wireless report, the New Zealand Shipping Company's motor ship Orari, with general cargo from Live*- i pool, will arrive at Auckland to-morrow morning. She is to discharge the local portion of her cargo at the Queen's wharf and the remainder at Wellington, LytteltOn and Dunedin.
