ELECTION OF OFFICE-BEARE3S NOMINATIONS RECEIVED. The following nominations have been received for office-bearers of the Auckland Returned Soldiers' Association for the ensuing year:—President, Messrs. F. L. Hylton and E. H. Clark, S. Jennings, A. P. Postlewaite; auditor, Messrs. A. W. Christmas, W. S. Cooper, W. V. Worth; committee (12 members), Messrs. Aekins, J. E. Barton, G. Blair, C. O. Brown, J. W. Candy, W. G. Covenett, Clark, H. S. Connolly, S. Cree, L. N. de Thierry, S. H. Dott, H. J. Dunn, A. Dunthorne, G. Florian, W. E. Gibeon, A. Herman, D. Hallett, King-Mason, L. J. Lloyd, A. J. Mildon, W. J. The retiring president, General Sir George Richardson, is not seeking re-elec-tion. Of the three retiring vice-presidents only Mr. Kendall has been_ nominated, the other two at present sitting being Messrs. A. C. A. Sexton and T. H. Dawson. The late Mr. T. S. Miller was treasurer. The present auditor is Mr. K. N. S. Chisholm. It was stated this morning that some doubt had arisen concerning the closing time of nominations, as the rules provide for a period of 14 days before the time of the annual meeting.
