PRESENTATION.
To mark the silver wedding of Rev. and Mrs. A. Mcßean, a presentation of an inscribed- silver tea service was made on behalf of the Mount Albert Methodist Church at a concert m tlie church hall last evening. In making the presentation, Mr. J. Ji. Astley referred to the good work of Mr. and Mrs. Mcßean in the church. He said that ho spoke for when he expressed the hope that their ministry in the circuit would be long continued. They had a great gift for friendship, and were successful in promoting the harmony and happiness of all branches of the Church's life. He assured them of the affectionate co-operation * and good will of the whole Church. Miss Cunningham, on behalf of the ladies' guild, presented Mrs. Mcßean with a handsome bouquet. Suitable acknowledgments were made by both Mr. and Mrs. Mcßean. - During an interval refreshments were handed round. An enjoyable concert programme was given, the performers being: Miss Molly Cater, Miss Olive Worger-Tliomas, Mr. A. Pelham, Miss Nina Scott, and Mr. Bert Skeels. The concert was in aid of the church organ fund.
