WOMAN INJURED.

COIXISION IN GRAFTON.

Two motor cars collided violently at the intersection of Graf ton and Park Roads about 6.30 last evening, and as a result Mrs. Rhoda Alice Cormick, aged 24, of 25, Cumberland Avenue, Westmere, suffered concussion and severe head injuries. She was taken to the Auckland Hospital. Her condition this morning was reported to be quite satisfactory. Mrs. Cormick was travelling in a car which was driven by her husband,' Mr. J. J. Corniiek. They were goinjr up Grafton Road in the direction of Khyber Pass when their car collided with a iiveseater tourer, driven by Mr. A. L.-Smith, of 4, Scarborough Street, Parnell. The five-seater was being driven alonrj park Road toward the city. The lighter car was swung round, and Mrs. Cormick was thrown heavily on to the concrete roadway. The light car was extensively dam- 1 aged. The left front mudguard and headlight of Mr. Smith's car were also damaged.
