NEW ZEALAND TITLES. (By Telegraph. —Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Sunday. The two miles and the half-mile New Zealand championship cycling events were won easily by C. Parker (Inglewood), at the Waitara sports yesterday. In tie ™o miles W. K. Weir and L. **ttW, both Of Christchurch, were second and third respectively. Heavy head winds were met with most of the way, but In spite of this good times were registered. Lawrence and Coleman fought out a wonderful finish, the former gaining the verdict by half a wheel. Sharpe rode a magnificent race, and just failed to overhaul the winners. In his performance he lowered the lap record of 9.31 4-5 established by Les White. Sharpe b time was 9.31, beating the record by 4-sth of a second. His 72.41 was fastest time for the race.
