Abolition of Slums in England i\nd Wales.
REHOUSING THE PEOPLE. LONDON, April 7. The Ministry of Health has decreed a five-year plan for the abolition of slums in England and Wales. The authorities point out that the present conditions are favourable. They call upon all local bodies to prepare plans for rehousing people before 1038. ASHORE ON SCHELDT. FRENCH STEAMER'S MISHAP.
