egg-:laying competition. ducks at christchurch. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Nino hundred and eighty-four eggs in 305 days is the score estalished by three Khaki Campbell ducks in the 1932 egglaying tests conducted by the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club at Papanui. This is claimed by the club to be a world's record.

The ducks are owned and bred by Mr. Ashworth, of Riccarton. The individual scoring was: No. 1 bird 313 eggs, No. 2 325, No. 3 346. The total beats the previous club record by 55.

Another fine performance was put up by three Indian Runner ducks, belonging to Mr. A. G- F. Ross. They also broke the previous record with 962 eggs. The individual record was established by one of these birds with 350 eggs in 365 days.
