APPLES FOR LONDON.
Auckland's rruit export season proceeds apace. The Port Hardy, which left this port last Saturday for London, via Montevideo, carried 12,000 cases of Delicious apples, destined for the South American market, and 10,000 cases of mixed varieties for London. Loadings were made this week on the Huntingdon, which will take 14,000 cases- of Delicious to South America, and on the Tainui, which carries 9000 cases of apples and 1000 caeeii of pears for London. Next week the Mahana will be loaded with 4000 cases, and the succeeding loading will be of 10,000 cases on the Karamea.
