MONARCHIST PLOT.
Second Anniversary of Alfonso's
Abdication.
DISCOVERY IN SPAIN.
LONDON, April 5,
The Madrid correspondent of the British United Press states that the Spanish Cabinet sat for three hours and discussed the discovery of a revolutionary plot planned for the second anniversary of the overthrow of the monarchy (April 14). The police arrested 100 syndicalists and three anarchists.
The Government probably will close the Cortes (Parliament) for 20 days in order to have a free hand to deal with the situation.
