INTENSE ANTI-CYCLONE.
TO-DAY'S WEATHER FORECAST
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A fairly intense anti-cyclone covers New Zealand, the centre being west of the South Island. A cyclone of tropical origin is centred far to the north. The forecast is for moderate to strong south-east to east winds, with the weather cloudy to overcast, with scattered rains; seas rather rough.
