PAPATOETOE TOWN BOARD
The Papatoetoe Town Board met last evening, the chairman, Mr. W. J. Nicholson, presiding. , Town Board Offices.—lt was reported that the conversion of the front of the Papatoetoe Public Hall into town board offices was under way, and that satisfactory progress had been made. Street Collection. — Permission was granted the Otahuhu Returned Soldiers Association to hold a street collection in the district on April 21, and also to the Community Sunshine Association tor May
25. Building Inspector.—The resignation ot the building inspector, Mr. Wells, was accepted with regret. Finance.—The chairman pointed out that the overdraft had been reduced to £1300, and was £300 less than at the corresponding period last year.
